Shoes Consumption Country
Asia has a
total population of 3.513 billion,
accounting for 58.9% of the total world population. Asia is
sure
to become the most important market in the world either from the point
of view of shoes supply or the consumers' market. At present
per capita shoes consumption in Asia is approximately 1.2 pairs.
According to the latest estimate by Swiss Bank, by 2012 per
capita shoes consumption in Asia will reach 2 pairs, so with the rapid
development of China's economy, people's consumption capability and
awareness will be increased tremendously and the rural shoes
consumption capability will increase on a large scale. China
will
become the most potential target market for the export of all kinds of
shoes and the most potential consumption market for all types of
shoes. In the future ten years, per capita shoes
consumption
in Asia will break through 3 pairs, namely the total consumption of
more than 10 billion pairs of shoes, therefore the powerful market
consumption potential is bound to effectively support China's footwear
industry to seek the sustained development and open up the vigorous
