First time for Jinjiang to record negative growth for exported shoes
Adversely affected by the unfavorable factors like anti-dumping policy imposed by the European Union, Jinjiang recorded the first negative growth for exported shoes in the first half year, after keeping a smooth export for a long period of time. The negative growth is mainly caused by the anti-dumping policy of shoes imposed by European Union, which greatly affected the confidence of exported enterprises.
Jinjiang completed the evaluation of exported shoes from January to June this year. They have evaluated totally 31,697 lots, which is equal to 263.821million pairs and the exported value is USD659.25million. The exported amount and exported value decreased 13.1% and 1.0% respectively compared with the same period last year.
Amongst, the European Union is the major city of Jinjiang exported shoes. Jinjiang exported totally 9314 lots, which is equal to 56.18million pairs of shoes to the European Union and the exported value is USD190.04 million. The exported amount and exported value decreased 3.1% and 0.1% respectively compared with the same period last year. The figures of exported amount and value share 21% and 29% respectively of Jinjiang's total exported amount and value.
