More than 20,000 Visitors Gather At The Primer Plaftform
The 5th Dongguan China Shoes . China Shoetec (Spring 2007) Closed With Full Success Jointly organized by Messe Dusseldorf China Ltd., Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. & Guangdong Modern Convention and Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, co-organized by China Chamber of Commerce for I/E of Light Industrial Products & Arts-Crafts, the 5th Dongguan China Shoes . China Shoetec (Spring 2007), the only UFI-approved professional footwear event in Asia, brought a successful ending on April 20, 2007 at Dongguan International Convention and Exhibition Center, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, P.R. China. Recognized as the best platform for sourcing middle-to-high end footwear in Asia, the 3-day fair attracted more than 20,000 visitors coming from 81 countries and regions.
A highest ever visitor number of 22,105 ¡V a growth of 11.2% from the last edition ¡V were recorded. They came from 81 countries and regions, including the US, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Taiwan Province, Japan, Korea and India. Apart from the UK and East Asian visitors, the fair also attracted new buyers from South America such as Argentina, Peru, and Paraguay. Lots of buyers were satisfied with the onsite services, especially the Onsite Business Matching, saying that it was really helpful for searching suitable manufactures and suppliers. The pre-registration counter for the autumn edition of China Shoes was popular among the visitors, who said it had been marked down in their trip schedule.
The participation of overseas visiting delegations were encouraging. More than 11 country associations and organizations organized buyer delegations. They included FEDERCALZATURE from Italy, as well as respresntatives from the Australian and Japanes footwear industry. Also, Anchor Group and Team Footwear from USA, Mochi Shoes from Canada, Fluke Footwear and Group Five Shoes from UK, Mirabell, Swire and Walkershop from Hong Kong SAR, plus the China representatives of international brands like Adidas, K-Swiss, Nike and Walmart also visited and purchased at the show. Some visitors also joined factory tours with an aim to exchange information on new technology and explore new cooperation opportunities.
Mainland buyer delegations such as Carrefour, Haiya Department Store, Xin Da Xin Guangzhou Department Store were also present. The organizers also worked with the show's new supporter, Guangdong Chain Operations Association, to organize a delegation of its member companies to visit the fair.
In order to express the warmest welcome towards China Shoes buyers, the organizers specially organized a ¡§Buyers Night¡¨ on the night before the show opening, which offered a perfect opportunity for overseas buyers to gather together and exchange market information and footwear trends in a relaxed atmosphere. The excellent traditional China Opera performance ¡V "Change Faces" ¡V gained enormous applauses, making the night even more unforgettable.
Meanwhile, exhibitors were highly satisfied with the quality of the visitors. Recording a growth of 13.6% to record high 25,000 square meters in exhibition area, the fair attracted 515 exhibitors from PR China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan Province, as well as various Asian and European countries. They included renowned exhibitors such as Betta, Champion Wealth, Fortune, Grand Haven, Manley, Peninsula Shoes, Sancon and Turbo Shoes from Hong Kong SAR; Cortinachina, Didini, Guangzhou Mescot, Isca, Taihua, B&C, Yinsheng and Kuari from PR China; Lida Transworld, Amanda, Mitiwell, Homewell and Jerry Yang from Taiwan Province; LDP from Japan; Boby from Singapore; Dakkak from Syria etc.
Fabulous Concurrent Events, such as fashion shows, trendy shoes display zone, latest color display zone, etc, were held onsite to bring the most fashionable footwear collection to buyers and visitors. Through the professional performance of models, the special features and fashion elements of products came alive in front of the audience.
