News from China Daily Website, Adidas that has been upholding the philosophy of "designing shoes for feet in sport" recently unveiled an eye-catching new product, the first pair of intelligent shoes in the world that embodies computer chips to facilitate the feet for sport. Adidas opened its laboratory to journalists from all over the world on May 6 and explained in detail the secret of the shoes.

"This is the first intelligent shoe ever," said Erich Stamminger, global marketing director for Adidas. "It senses (your sport performance), understands (your need for sport), and adapts."

Mechanism of the intelligent shoes is like this: the chip is positioned in the arched vamp, composed of a tiny screw and electronic system. The system can adjust the cushioning in the heels according to signs sent by the electric sensor that is connected to the magnet, thus reduce shake and pressure during sports.
