Abia State of Nigeria Becomes Possible to Export Shoes and Leather Products

Abia State of Nigeria have taken steps to make it possible for shoes and leather products manufactured in Aba to be exported to some African countries with a view to generating foreign exchange for the shoe manufacturers.

According to the senior special assistant to Governor Orji Uzor Kalu on foreign affairs and bilateral cooperation, Ms Philomena Oguguo, arrangements have begun as contact has been made with some African countries.

Philomena Oguguo added that those African countries are eager to buy the shoes and leather products having established that the products are of good quality.
