The 7th Dongguan China Shoes • China Shoetec (Sping 2008) will be held on April 16 – 18, 2008.
With tremendous support in the industry, it is expected that over 600 exhibitors will participate in the fair with exhibition area reaches 25,000 sqm. More than 25,000 buyers & visitors are expected to attend the fair.
This year, three specialized zones will be set up in order to facilitate the business matching between the buyers and their target suppliers, which are "Shoes" and "Shoetec-Machinery" & "Shoetec-Material" zones. China Chamber of Commerce for I/E of Light Industrial Products and Art-Crafts (CCCLA), Hong Kong Footwear Association and Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association will organize pavilions and bring their members to exhibit at the show. Other than the enormous support from the international and regional footwear associations, more than 100 past loyal exhibitors will participate in the fair again. This spring fair has been generally acknowledged by the industry as the platform for the prelude of 2008 business. Apart from demonstrating the brilliant booth design, exhibitors will endeavor to showcase their wide range of latest collection; some of the exhibitors will even join the fashion show in order to capture the exceptional attention of the international buyers.
On the other hand, over 100 shoes-making machines will be exhibiting in the "Shoetec-Machinery" zone. Among all the exhibitors, Dongguan Shoe Machinery Association possesses the largest exhibitor lineup, more than 20 of their members will join. They will not only share the latest shoes-making technologies, but also display their all-rounded equipments to welcome the new era of the footwear industry. Besides, there will be more than 100 exhibitors exhibiting footwear accessories, components & materials; the number of exhibitors is the highest among the previous editions.
In order to satisfy the needs of exhibitors to develop overseas markets and explore more business opportunities, the organizers have invited professionals to deliver keynote speeches on hot topics such as countermeasures to the new series of European Union antidumping and how to conform to the shoes exporting standards, etc. Also, President of distributors & Retailers of America (FDRA) and mainland experts will analyze the current market situation and future outlook of shoes industry. Buyers and exhibitors can also take part in the experience sharing session jointly organized by mainland shoes manufacturers and branded footwear corporations. For the domestic market, we will have seminars hold by senior management from retail department stores of Eastern and Northern China, topics include analysis on domestic market and business transformation opportunities for footwear makers.
Up to March 20, about 1,500 overseas buyers have registered to visit the trade show. Visiting pavilions come from different countries, such as Italy, India, Japan & Korea, and merchandisers from various footwear retail chain stores and department stores headquarters will attend the fair as well.
